Veyrhold

A world of old boundaries, borrowed pain and truths that survive by passing from one body into another.

2Opening novels in a larger hidden history.

Veyrhold is immersive, beautiful and strange. Its horror begins with ordinary lives, familiar obligations and a world whose traditions feel stable. Wrongness enters quietly: a wound behaving unlike a wound, a boundary preserving the wrong thing, a body carrying knowledge it never learned.

The series avoids distant cosmic spectacle. Its mysteries stay physical, local and personal. Each book uncovers one major hidden truth while revealing that the truth belongs to a larger design.

Book One

The Unwritten Strain

In Veyrhold, inheritance is understood through blood, family and history. The unwritten strain is something else: a pattern carried without record, passed through lives that should never have touched.

The first novel establishes the moat, the intimate rules of wrongness and the series’ central question—whether a body can remember a truth the world has removed from language.

Inheritance, erased history, bodily memory, boundaries and the first hidden truth.

The Borrowed Wound

A wound appears to belong to the person carrying it. Its pain, memory and intention suggest otherwise. As the wrongness spreads, characters confront injuries that behave like possessions and healing that may only move harm elsewhere.

The late revelation grows directly from the first book and becomes the second major clue in Veyrhold’s larger mystery. The horror remains bodily and close, even as the implications threaten everything the world believes about identity.

Transferred pain, identity, sacrifice, hidden history and the terror of healing at another person’s expense.
